O atacante Roger de Souza, que pertencia ao Coritiba e estava emprestado ao Botafogo-SP, foi encontrado morto no último domingo, em um quarto de motel na cidade de Guarulhos (SP). As circunstâncias da morte do jogador, que tinha apenas 21 anos, ainda não foram esclarecidas pela Polícia.

O Coritiba enviou, no início da tarde desta segunda-feira, a psicóloga do clube, Flávia Focaccia, e a assistente social do clube, Clair Kapp, a Bandeirantes, norte do Paraná, a fim de dar todo o apoio e assistência necessários à família do atacante.
