Em Cubatão entra em vigor aumento nas tarifas de ônibus e lotações

Andar de ônibus e lotação já está mais caro em Cubatão. O preço da passagem do transporte coletivo convencional passou de R$ 2,00 para R$ 2,50. E o do alternativo subiu de R$ 1,90 para R$ 2,40. Segundo a Companhia Municipal de Trânsito (CMT), o reajuste foi feito para equalizar os custos da manutenção do serviço prestado hoje pela Viação TransLíder, concessionária que explora o transporte público no Município. A última correção de tarifa ocorreu em 2008, quando a empresa responsável pelos coletivos era a Viação Piracicabana.

O superintendente CMT, Marco Cruz, explica que o reajuste foi autorizado para compensar os investimentos feitos na melhoria do transporte público municipal e foi autorizado após uma auditoria. Ele diz que o número de ônibus rodando subiu de 40 para 64, sendo 38 deles adaptados. Linhas como a do Bairro Jardim Nova República foram ampliadas e mais uma foi criada, que é a que passou atender a comunidade da Mantiqueira. Mas um dos fatores preponderantes é o retorno dos cobradores, que representa um gasto significativo para a prestadora do serviço.

Segundo ainda a companhia, a equiparação dos valores das tarifas visava a integração do serviço. Assim, a população teria as mesmas vantagens que possui no sistema convencional no transporte alternativo. Um desses benefícios é a integração, que permite ao usuário descer no Centro da Cidade e ingressar em outra linha sem pagar por uma nova passagem. Mas mesmo que a proposta não tenha sido aceita, a CMT informa que continuará trabalhando para integrar todo o sistema de transporte público.
